AI (Sr.) Delivery Manager

Job Description

The AI Delivery Manager possesses a deep understanding of target customer needs and strong grasp on how artificial intelligence can help solve them to define a solution that will best address the client’s business issues. He/She manages engagements that will lead to or include product development by developing product roadmaps, understanding transformation drivers and objectives, conducting market research, assessing readiness, generating product requirements, determining specifications & pricing, and developing go-to-market strategies. He/She works closely with cross-functional teams, delivery partners and key decision-makers to develop business strategies and commercialize the solution vision.

Key Responsabilities

  • Oversee customer engagements from initial strategy and needs analysis to full product development and launch;
    • Lead engagement business activities and serve as a primary client contact.
    • Plan and control project execution activities
    • Ensure smooth collaboration with client resources
    • Manage execution of project deliverables and sign off from clients
    • Evaluate engagement or product success, project management changes, and profitability
    • Develop and implement corrective action plans when required
    • Lead client workshops and interviews
  • Manage development of AI strategy and business solutions in the context of AI-driven transformation. This means: 
    • Lead analysis of client’s business challenges and operational issues to define client problems and identify prioritized, high-value use cases
    • Design high-level future operating model and assess gaps against current state 
    • Lead assessments to determine clients readiness to adopt AI solutions
    • Lead the development of business cases and ROI analysis
  • Manage full product life cycle, development to launch. This means:
    • Analyze client’s needs to define clear business requirements to the development teams
    • Develop the product roadmap, including what features to include each release based on client needs and technical constraints
    • Perform market analysis of comparable solutions
  • Support the development and evolution of IVADO Labs’ service offerings
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Support business development activities;
    • Support lead relationship executive in developing and closing opportunities
    • Analyze the customer’s business challenges and functional needs
    • Lead/coordinate with business and technical teams to develop end-to-end solutions
    • Build proposals in line with IVADO Labs offerings and strategy
    • Assist with engagement pricing determination by utilizing market and project scope data
    • Lead business development activities for existing accounts

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5-10 years in a customer-facing role responsible for managing client relationships
  • 5-10 years in a role responsible for managing large, complex business and/or technical projects/programs in a management/strategy/technology consulting firm
  • 2-5 years business development experience for consulting services, interfacing with C-level executives
  • Expertise in at least two major industry sectors related to the supply chain domain (e.g., mining, logistics and transportation, retail, CPG, industrial manufacturing, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of artificial intelligence and its impact on business 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ideally have contacts within industry and be able to easily formulate new relationships
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills and ability to convey/translate complex technical concepts to senior executives
  • Knowledgeable of industry standards & best practices
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis abilities, especially in the processing of information and data
  • Excellent organization and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Ability and desire to work both independently and within a team in a startup environment
